Cieszanów Rock Festival 2026 brings three days of legendary rock to Podkarpackie
Just a 90 minute to two hour drive from Rzeszów, the small town of Cieszanów will once again become the loudest destination in Podkarpackie this summer as Cieszanów Rock Festival returns from 13 to 15 August 2026.
Set against the rolling landscapes of Roztocze, the festival has grown into one of Poland's biggest celebrations of rock, punk, and metal. Thousands of fans travel from across the country every year, not only for the music but also for the welcoming atmosphere, affordable camping and the chance to explore one of south-eastern Poland's most scenic regions.
For music lovers in Rzeszów, it is one of the easiest major summer festivals to reach without travelling across the country, making it an ideal long weekend for anyone looking to swap the city for live music under the stars.
From Breakout Festival to a Podkarpackie Favourite
Although the Cieszanów Rock Festival officially launched in 2010, its roots date back to the legendary Breakout Festival, which helped establish the town as a significant destination for live rock music.
Over the years, the festival has welcomed some of Poland's biggest names, including Perfect, Coma, Happysad and Dżem. Following a period when the event was organised as CieszFanów Festival, the original Cieszanów Rock Festival name returned, combining its long-standing traditions with a refreshed programme and renewed focus on community involvement.
Today, it is widely recognised as one of the leading rock festivals in south-eastern Poland.

This year's programme blends legendary Polish acts, international artists and emerging talent discovered through the festival's annual band competition.

Alongside the Main Stage, visitors can also discover emerging artists on the Alternative Stage and enjoy intimate performances at the City NGO Stage in unique venues around Cieszanów.

Accommodation is also available in nearby holiday cottages, guesthouses and agritourism properties across the Roztocze region, including Teddy Camp at Kąpielisko Wędrowiec and Leśna Chata in Kowalówka.
Advance booking is recommended, particularly for the August holiday period.
